This introductory-level HazCom training course is based on OAR 437-002-0360 and includes the most current revisions to OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), including the 2012 revisions incorporating the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS).

The goal of our HAZCOM Globally Harmonized System (GHS) class is to train participants how to understand the requirements of Hazard Communication under globally recognized standards.

This class is approved for 3 credit hours of Continuing Education credits with Oregon Construction Contractor Board

Requirements:

  • Live Class – Student must have means of transportation to classroom facility (facility is ADA compliant).
  • Student must bring valid, government issued, photo ID
  • Course instructor will be available in person between 8:30am and 11:30am PST on the day of class.

NOTICE: This training course has been developed directly from OR-OSHA standards and is intended to help employees meet the basic training requirements for Hazard Communication. It follows OAR 437-002-0360 Hazard Communication.
