The goal of our OSHA 30hr Construction Industry Health & Safety class is to train construction supervisors in important practices of occupational health and safety. This program will assist employers in training supervisors for competent person status. This course will also provide instruction on OSHA regulations and requirements as they apply to the construction industry and teaches safety awareness, which assists workers and their supervisors in recognizing and reducing the risks of construction site and industrial hazards.

This class is approved for 30 credit hours of Continuing Education credits with Oregon Construction Contractor Board

Requirements:

  • Live Class – Student must have means of transportation to classroom facility (facility is ADA compliant).
  • Student must bring valid, government issued, photo ID
  • Course instructor will be available in person between 8:30am and 11:30am PST on the day of class.

 Students who successfully complete OSHA 30hr Construction Industry Health & Safety will be taught OSHA regulations and standards as they apply to the construction industry. The course covers practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating & reporting on-site hazards. It also teaches safety awareness and assists supervisors in recognizing and reducing risks in the workplace.

This program will assist employers in training supervisors for competent person status. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site. OSHA recommends this training as an orientation to occupational health and safety. Training should emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention.

 Note: OSHA 30hr Training requires a minimum class size of 10 students. These classes are sometimes taught by multiple instructors. If the class consists of one company, it can be customized to include their required safety programs. Cards are submitted and typically take 4-6 weeks to be delivered.
